I'm learning to make socks using the magic loop method from the toe up. Very interesting.
I learn magic loop from the top down and have already knit two pair of socks that way. This would seems very different, but still fun.
I love socks.

Starting Kat's Knitting Korner
About 9 month's or so ago I found out a friend had bought a yarn shop. It was The Yarn Stash in Burien. I had knitted years ago but not with "real" yarn only with Red Heart.
I remembered the fun I'd had so I decided to take the beginning class because when I picked up the needles I didn't remember what I was doing. I felt sorry for the poor lady who took the class with me. She really was a beginner and I'm afraid I may of scared her off because I seemed to be picking everything up so fast.
After the beginning class I went on to take a Magic Loop sock class. After that I was really hooked. I loved making socks, something I had never though I could do.
Now nine months later I'm knitting lace and socks and have a good start on a nice yarn stash. I'm hoping to do some designing but that is still in the future.
